The Property Brokerage was founded in 2017 by Mark Barrett, a highly successful Property Entrepreneur and award-winning industry expert. Mark’s initial venture, The HMO Agency, quickly became one of the leading lettings agencies for HMOs (Houses of Multiple Occupation) in the North West. After successfully scaling and systemising the business, Mark exited to a national HMO specialist and went on to establish The Property Brokerage to provide a specialist sourcing service to his clients.
Today, The Property Brokerage offers a wide range of services to clients looking to buy or sell property in the North West. Our expertise includes on and off-market sales, auction services with no fees, and a hands-free Portfolio Builder Service. We specialise in Buy-To-Let investments, HMOs, blocks of flats, commercial conversions and portfolios.
In addition, we host two popular monthly property networking events in Manchester – The Property Breakfast at the prestigious Worsley Park Country Club, and the Sourced Investor Network event. Mark Barret, Managing Director. Over the past decade, Mark has become a seasoned property entrepreneur, completing over 50 option deals, as well as securing planning gains and overseeing more than 40 HMO and commercial conversions.
Mark joined the Property Entrepreneur Board in 2016, and now hosts the monthly Property Entrepreneur “Deals Deals Deals” podcast featuring some of the UK’s most creative and award winning property deals. He has also represented the National Landlords Association in the North West, providing insight on HMO legislative changes.
With a proven track record in property investing, Mark founded The Property Brokerage in 2017 offering a range of specialised services, including on and off-market investment property sales, auction services, and a hands-free Portfolio Builder Service in the North West, for Buy-to-Let investments, HMOs, commercial conversions, and other lucrative strategies.
In addition to his work at The Property Brokerage, Mark is also committed to sharing his expertise and helping others succeed in the property industry.
